Quarterly Development Tracking Report

The Quarterly Development Tracking Report summarizes residential and commercial development activity and trends in Arlington. Information in these reports is generated from County staff reports, County Board minutes and data on Certificate of Occupancy (CO) permits, building permits and demolitions permits.

Highlights from this quarter’s report:

The 11th and Vermont South Block - J. Luna Apartments (SP #447) project was completed adding 98 residential units to the County. The North Block portion of the project with 10 townhomes was previously completed in 2024.
Clarendon Square (SP #479) with 309 residential units and 6,036 SF of retail and the Hotel Pentagon (SP #111) project with 531 residential units were approved by the County Board.
The McDonald's located at 4834 Langston Boulevard was issued a demolition permit and building permit to redevelop the site.
