Current Engagement Opportunities

Northern Virginia Joint Transportation Meeting - In-person Meeting on Oct. 20, 6:30 p.m.: The public is invited to the annual Northern Virginia Joint Transportation Meeting on Monday, Oct. 20, held by the Commonwealth Transportation Board(Virginia Department of Transportation and Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation),Northern Virginia Transportation Authority(NVTA),Northern Virginia Transportation Commission(NVTC),Virginia Railway Express(VRE), and National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board(TPB) to learn more about the regional collaboration required to keep travelers in Northern Virginia moving. The meeting at the VDOT Northern Virginia District Building, 4975 Alliance Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030will start at 6:30 p.m. with an open house where attendees can talk with representatives from each agency. A listening session with a panel of appointed officials from various agencies will begin at 7:15 p.m. and will be streamed online (please note that the live stream will be in listen-only mode).

Low Residential Study Open Houses - Oct. 20 and Nov. 13
Join us at our upcoming open houses at Lubber Run on October 20 6-8 pm and at the Trades Center on November 13 6-8 pm to learn more about the study, ask questions and provide your feedback during the study's fall engagement. Click here to learn about the Low Residential Study.

Wilson Blvd & N. Livingston Street Intersection Safety Improvements - Feedback Form through Oct. 27:  Share your feedback on a preliminary concept design developed with input from the public during engagement this past summer. Visit the project page for more information and to share your thoughts.

Drew Park Master Planning Process - In-Person Open House Event on October 29: Arlington County is expanding Drew Park to create a larger, more connected community space. Please join us for a community open house at Charles Drew Community Center on Wednesday, October 29 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Stop by to learn about the project's goals and scope, and then share feedback on what you'd like to see in the expanded park. Make sure to RSVP for the open house on the event page!

Gas-Powered Leaf Blowers in Arlington County - Feedback Form through Oct. 29

Help us update Arlington's Vision Zero Action Plan! - Feedback Form through Oct. 31:Share your feedback on Arlington’s traffic safety program and what it will take to achieve zero by 2030. We want to hear your insights, learn from your experiences, and define Arlington’s path to zero severe or fatal injuries by 2030. Share your feedback online through Oct 31.

Quarterly Community Meeting with the Police - In person events on Nov. 12 and Nov. 13, 6:30 - 8 p.m.: The Arlington County Police Department’s (ACPD) Community Engagement Division invites the public to the fall quarterly community meetings covering community issues, crime prevention tips and quality of life concerns. On Wednesday, Nov. 12 join us at the Rosslyn BID, 1911 Fort Meyer Drive, Suite LL-10 and on Thursday, Nov. 13 join us at Amazon HQ2, 1770 Crystal Drive, 13th Floor. Attendees are encouraged to submit question(s) through ACPD’s Quarterly Community Meeting Question Form no less than three business days ahead of the meeting they plan to attend. Comprehensive Plan Update - Feedback Form through Nov. 16: Arlington County is updating its Comprehensive Plan. We want to hear your thoughts, ideas, and concerns! Your feedback will help us develop the new introductory chapter for Arlington's Comprehensive Plan. Learn more and share your thoughts by November 16. Learn more online.  

Understanding the Needs of Veterans and Service Members in Arlington
Arlington County’s Military and Veterans Advisory Committee (MVAC) is interested in hearing from members of the military, veterans, and their families who live and/or work in Arlington about types of programs, services, and resources that could be helpful. Click here to participate so that we can explore programs and services that may better serve our Veteran and Active Military Community.

Safe Homes, Safe Relationships - Feedback Form in English or español
Share your feedback with Project PEACE on any experience you may have been using, looking for, or if you are referring people to resources for those impacted by domestic/intimate partner violence and sexual assault in Arlington County. Your feedback is confidential. Results will help enhance and improve services for everyone in the county.
