Low Residential Study Open House - Oct. 20

Attend the Low Residential Study open house on Monday, Oct. 20, from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Oak Room at the Lubber Run Community Center to learn more about the study, ask questions and provide your feedback as part of the fall engagement process.

The County Board has directed staff to study potential amendments to the Arlington County Zoning Ordinance (ACZO) to support better stormwater and tree canopy outcomes in low density residential neighborhoods over time.

Phase one of the community engagement process is open now through the winter. We hope to develop a shared understanding of the issues, gather feedback from the community and begin evaluating policy options in the spring/summer of 2026.
