Arlington County Offering COVID-19 Bivalent Booster Vaccines

Appointments are now available for a free COVID-19 bivalent (updated) booster through Arlington County Public Health. Boosters are available starting Tuesday, Sep. 13, 2022, by appointment only. No walk-ins will be allowed.

Arlington County Takes Zero Emission Buses for a Test Drive

Arlington Transit (ART) is partnering with several manufacturers as part of a Zero Emission Bus (ZEB) Pilot starting this month into early 2023. The pilot will allow ART to collect data and assess vehicle performance during actual operation in the County.

CERT Basic Training

Join the Arlington Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).

CERT is an award-winning community volunteer group trained to save lives, reduce injuries and assist with emergency response.

The CERT training is FREE and open to anyone on lives, works, attends school or a place of worship or volunteers extensively in Arlington County.
Course and final exercise are a total of 8 classes.

2022-2023 Energy Masters - Application for Volunteers

Apply to volunteer for Energy Masters! This program is facilitated by Virginia Tech Cooperative Extension and EcoAction Arlington, both largely funded by Arlington County to ensure the county meets its goals in climate change and supports residents who live in affordable housing. Applications are open now until September 16th. There is an early bird discount for those who apply before August 21!
