2026 Open Door Monday Schedule(PDF, 151KB)
New for 2026:
- The County Board is doubling the number of in-person sessions - they will now be held on the Second and Fourth Monday of each month.
- All sessions will also now begin at 6:00 PM.
- Locations for In-Person sessions for July - November will be announced at a later date - please check back for updates
Join us for Open Door Mondays, an informal opportunity for Arlingtonians to chat one-on-one or in small groups with a County Board Member.
Sessions run from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM for the first four Mondays of each month, except on County holidays, and in August and December, or where a previously scheduled County Board Office commitment conflicts.
- Virtual Sessions are typically held on the first and third Monday of each month.
- In-Person Sessions are typically held on the second and fourth Monday of each month.
Board Members take turns hosting Open Door Mondays throughout the year - to find out which Member is hosting your session, you may write to the Board Office at countyboard@arlingtonva.us, or call 703-228-3130. Board Member assignments are not final until the day of each session.
Feel free to bring any issue to discuss! There are no specific time limits, but be considerate to others who may be waiting. The hosting Board Member generally speaks with everyone on a first-come-first-served basis, but may speak in a group if several people have registered to discuss the same issue. You can listen in, or contribute your thoughts, if appropriate.
