Did you know…

• Arlington's population reached 244,300 people in 2026. After a brief dip in 2021 due to impacts from the Covid-19 pandemic, the population rebounded and surpassed the 2020 Census count beginning in 2024.
• Since 2020, 99% of Arlington's net housing growth has come from multi-family apartments and condos. 
• One-person households make up the largest share of all households in both corridors — 50% in the R-B Corridor and an even higher 59% along the Richmond Highway Corridor.
• 35% of Arlington residents age 16 and over work from home as their primary means of commuting to work.
