  • No fingerprinting services will occur at the ACSO since courts are closed.

Parks & Recreation Facilities & Programs
  • All community centers except for the Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness (LBAFC) are closed.
  • Administrative offices closed.
  • Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center is open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
Parking

Permit parking is always in effect unless specifically noted on the sign. Meters are not enforced on holidays. 

Use Performance Parking Pilot tools to find fast on-street spaces.

In-person Residential Permit Parking service will be unavailable during the Christmas and New Year's holidays, Dec. 24-Jan. 2.

Permit Arlington Center and phone lines are closed. 

No building or trade inspections.

Permit Arlington is available for customer use, including application submission.

Cultural Affairs

3700 S. Four Mile Run Drive/Theatre on the Run: Closed Wednesday, Dec. 24 through Friday, Dec. 26.
The Studios at Arlington Arts: Closed Wednesday, Dec. 24 through Friday, Dec. 26.
Scenery Studio: Open 10am to 6pm on Wednesday, Dec. 24; Closed Thursday, Dec. 25 and Friday, Dec. 26.

Arlington County Government offices and facilities are closed on all federal holidays except Columbus Day.

Parking

  • Permit parking is always in effect unless specifically noted on the sign.
  • Meters are not enforced on Federal holidays, including Columbus Day or on County holidays (dates listed below) 
  • All other violations will be enforced.
  • Some parking restrictions may apply during special events. Motorists should look for temporary “no parking” signs.
