Low Residential Study Engagement – Virtual Q&A Session Sept. 19, 12 - 12:45 p.m.
Despite Arlington’s existing lot coverage and stormwater management regulations, impervious area is increasing Countywide, especially in residential areas. Impervious area increases the risk of flooding and extreme heat, which are the two most dangerous weather threats facing Arlington today. To help mitigate these risks and improve climate resilience, Arlington is considering the adoption of a maximum impervious area requirement in lower density, residentially zoned areas. Vision Zero Safety Pilots - Feedback Forms through Sept. 26
The Vision Zero team is seeking your input on two pilot projects: the Downhill Bike Lane & Right Turn Conflict Safety Pilot and the Route 50/Arlington Blvd & Highland St Median Closure Pilot. Your feedback will help inform next steps for each safety pilot. These opportunities are open through Sept. 26.
National Coffee with a Cop Day - Wednesday, October 1, 8 a.m. in Clarendon and 11:30 a.m. in Ballston
The Arlington County Police Department (ACPD) is proud to join communities nationwide in celebrating National Coffee with a Cop Day on Wednesday, October 1. The Community Engagement Division is hosting two informal engagement opportunities for Arlingtonians to connect with the officers that serve them and celebrate community-police relations. All are invited to attend the to ask questions, share concerns and get to know the men and women who keep Arlington safe. National Coffee with a Cop Day 2025 will be celebrated at the following locations and times on Wednesday, October 1: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Starbucks (Clarendon) – 2690 Clarendon Boulevard; and 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Good Company Doughnuts and Cafe – 1350 S. Columbia Pike Bicycle Boulevards Concept Designs – Feedback Form through Oct. 5
Based on community feedback, the transportation team has created concept designs to improve the signed bike routes that run parallel to Columbia Pike. Now they’re asking for your feedback again! Share your thoughts by Oct. 5 to help shape the final designs. Learn more on the project page.

Safe Homes, Safe Relationships - Feedback Form in English or español
Share your feedback with Project PEACE on any experience you may have been using, looking for, or if you are referring people to resources for those impacted by domestic/intimate partner violence and sexual assault in Arlington County. Your feedback is confidential. Results will help enhance and improve services for everyone in the county.
