Aug. 8 Update on Residential Curbside Collection
Thank you, Arlington, for your continued patience with curbside collection of residential trash, recycling and organics in recent days. The transition to a new contractor, Bates Trucking & Trash Removal, has not gone as smoothly as expected and we apologize to those customers who have experienced missed collections.
While most carts have been emptied since last Friday, when the contract began, those that still contain materials should be kept at the curb. Trucks from Bates and the County will be working throughout this weekend in an attempt to catch up on all affected routes.
If not previously reported, residents can send notice of a missed collection through the County’s online 24/7 Report-a-Problem tool at arlingtonva.us/reportaproblem.
