Pickleball is a fun, fast-growing sport enjoyed by all ages and skill levels. The game combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong and can be played indoors or outdoors on a hard surface court. Arlington Parks and Recreation currently offers 25 outdoor courts and 18 indoor courts striped for pickleball. The County recognizes there has been a shift in the use and demand for outdoor athletic courts and the Public Spaces Master Plan includes an Action Step to establish a dedicated pickleball facility to meet the growing demand.

The Next Up sign is only located at Lubber Run Community Center and Walter Reed Community Center Tennis Courts. Please use the same or similar method at our other courts.
