Please note changes to Drop-in schedule on Sat., Dec. 2 and 16 due to screening games:
Drop-in volleyball: 8:15-10:15 a.m. | Drop-in basketball: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

All drop-in offerings are canceled on Sun., Dec. 3 and 17. 

Drop-in gym activities will conclude at 5 p.m. on Fri., Dec. 15 to accommodate the Parent's Night Out program offering.

About this Center & Park

This community center features meeting rooms, multipurpose rooms, a game room, a gymnasium and wireless internet access. Adults exploring post-retirement opportunities can help with the outdoor sensory garden.

The Walter Reed Community Center is designed to meet the LEED silver standard. The community center features a green roof, green open space and light-colored paving to help reduce heat impact, a vegetated roof, a bioretention area catch.

Park amenities include green space, multi-purpose lighted courts for tennis, pickleball, basketball, and a playground.

NEW Outdoor Court Hours

Pickleball/ Tennis Courts

Mon. - Fri. from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sat. - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sun. - 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Pickleball/Basketball Courts

Priority Pickleball Hours:

Mon. – Sat. from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m.
Sun. from 1 p.m.- 7 p.m.
All pickleball play must finish by 9 p.m. on Mon. – Fri., 5 p.m. on Sat. and 7 p.m. on Sun.

Priority Basketball Hours:

Mon. – Sat. from 2 p.m. – Sunset

Please note that if the court is free, either sport can play, but if someone comes to play a designated sport during its designated time, the other sport players must relinquish the court.

Basketball Only Hours:

Sun. from 8 a.m.- 1 p.m.

The courts will be open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on all federal/ County holidays except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day. During these times, basketball play will take priority on basketball courts from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
