The 55+ Centers host lots of exciting opportunities for the 55+ community.

Arlington County has community centers that offer a wide variety of 55+ programs and services. Activities include exercise and sports, 55+ travel trips, social events, classes and guest speakers, discussion groups and clubs, games, crafts, music and more.

Security Protocols at Langston-Brown – Effective Dec. 1, 2025

To align with Arlington Public Schools’ security protocols during school hours (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.) all DPR program participants and visitors will be required to present identification and be screened through the APS Raptor Visitor System prior to entering Langston-Brown. Drop-Ins & Registration

Drop-in classes are ongoing programs that participants can join anytime with a valid 55+ Pass. Any program listed as a drop-in does not require pre-registration. All programs have a capacity limit and may fill up. Unless designated as drop-in, all programs require pre-registration. Registration automatically closes two business days prior to the start of the program. For questions, contact the Administrative Services Office at 703-228-4747.
