REPORTS
BURGLARY (late), 2025-04180212, 2300 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 8:51 p.m. on April 18, police received a late report of a breaking and entering. It was reported that at approximately 8:46 p.m. on April 17, the male suspect forced entry into a secured residential building in the 2300 block of Columbia Pike and its package room before fleeing the scene. During the course of the investigation, detectives identified the suspect. On the evening of April 18, officers located the suspect’s vehicle, conducted a traffic stop in the area of the 1600 block of S. Joyce Street and took the suspect into custody. Christopher Cole-Jackson, 33, of Washington, DC was arrested and charged with Burglary, Possession of Burglarious Tools and Attempted Petit Larceny. He was held without bond.
BURGLARY (late), 2025-04180101, 300 block of 10th Street S. On April 18, police received an online report for a late breaking and entering. It was reported that on April 17 at approximately 8:19 p.m., the male suspect made entry into the secured residential building and attempted to force entry into a secured office before fleeing the scene. No items were reported stolen. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
