REPORTS
MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2025-12160189, 23rd Street S. at S. Eads Street. At approximately 11:51 p.m. on December 16, police were dispatched to the report of a fight. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect and three male victims were outside when they became involved in a verbal dispute that escalated to an physical altercation during which the suspect allegedly struck the victims several times. Two of the victims sustained minor injuries and the other victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Responding officers located the suspect on scene and detained him and he urinated in public. Delonte Peters, 33, of Washington, D.C. was arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding, Assault and Battery (x2) and Urinating in Public. He was held without bond.
BURGLARY (late), 2025-12160118, 2400 block of N. Underwood Street. At approximately 3:36 p.m. on December 16, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary just discovered. It was determined between approximately 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., the suspect(s) forced entry into the female victim’s unoccupied residence, stole electronics and jewelry and fled the scene. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
