Project Goals
This location was nominated for Neighborhood Complete Streets (NCS) funding consideration. It ranked highly on a scored list of nominated streets. The Neighborhood Complete Streets Commission (NCSC) affirmed pursuance of a concept design and public engagement at their February 27, 2023, meeting. Learn more about the NCS process.
This section of roadway has high traffic volumes, located near commercial corridors, transit and Metro while lacking complete sidewalks. Existing conditions include a mix of housing types, and parking on both sides of the street.
Completing the existing sidewalk network is not feasible currently given the limited space within the right of way.
Shared Streets
Shared Streets refers to a series of design treatments that enable people walking, biking, and driving to share the roadway.
Involve
The project team will use your feedback, existing plan guidance and other information to develop a concept plan.
Engagement materials
Input gathered will help evaluate and refine development of a final concept.
