What you should know:
- You can live anywhere and come to our clinics.
- Bring a picture ID, insurance card, proof of address and proof of household income, if available.
- We charge for services according to a sliding scale based on income; no one will be turned away.
We offer testing, treatment, prevention advice, and vaccinations. We refer out to other regional clinics and partners as needed.
Testing and Treatment
We offer testing and treatment for the following conditions:
- Bacterial Vaginosis
- Chlamydia
- Genital Herpes
- Genital Warts
- Gonorrhea
- Hepatitis B
- Hepatitis C
- HIV
- Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
- Pubic Lice
- Syphilis
- Trichomoniasis
- Yeast Infection
Prevention
- Prevention advice and counseling for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
- Condom distribution
- Antibiotic post-exposure prevention (PEP) for chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis
- Expedited partner therapy (EPT)
- Referrals to regional clinic partners who provide pre-exposure prevention (PrEP(PDF, 438KB)) services for HIV

We may refer to other regional clinics and treatment centers, and welcome new partners. We partner with the following to provide services and outreach
(Formerly ADAP) VA MAP helps low-income people with HIV get medication.
Existing Clients
- Effective Feb. 1, 2025, Virginia Medication Assistance Program (VA MAP) clients can receive medications from Walgreens Pharmacy.
- You need a Ramsell Card to obtain medication.
- Contact your case manager to assist in this process.
- In order to enroll in VA MAP Program as a new patient, call the Virginia Department of Health at 855-362-0658 to ask questions or find out if you may be eligible.
New Patients with a HIV Diagnosis
Would you like to enroll in VA MAP?
After a confirmed HIV diagnosis, the first step is to work with your HIV medical provider.
- Your medical provider can help you apply to VA MAP.
- If you do not have a HIV medical provider, call the Arlington PHD Clinic (703-228-7444) to get a referral.
- To start enrollment process, please call the VDH Call Center at 855-362-0658.
