 Virginia Sheriffs’ Institute Scholarship Opportunity for Arlington Students
 The Arlington County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to share a scholarship opportunity available to Arlington residents pursuing a career in   criminal justice. The Virginia Sheriffs’ Institute (VSI) is offering scholarships for students who plan to attend a Virginia college or university   during the 2026–2027 academic year and are majoring in a criminal justice-related field. All applications must be submitted online with   required documentation by May 1, 2026. For full eligibility requirements and to apply, visit:

The Arlington County Sheriff’s Office is proud to host the Frederick Douglass Project for Justice, which provides members of the public with a tour of the detention facility and an opportunity to visit with residents of the Arlington County Detention Facility for thoughtful, guided discussions.
