Break Camps & Trips

Need something fun and engaging for the kids to do on ‘no school’ days while you’re at work?  Check out our program offerings for holiday breaks or during Arlington Public School Teacher Workdays and/or Parent-Teacher Conference Days.  This combination of full day programs, early release options, and even weekend trips is sure to find something for everyone! 

Arlington County is committed to all of its residents.  Families that qualify for fee reductions or campers who may benefit from inclusion support services can learn more at the links below.  These services are applicable to all of our break camp offerings, please inquire separately regarding trip programs.

Description: Welcome to Lego WeDo 2.0! In this course, children explore STEM concepts through educational robotics. Using the Lego WeDo 2.0 kit, they build and program robots, learning about functions of components like motors, hubs, and sensors. They grasp computer science concepts—sequencing, debugging, and loops—in a fun, educational setting suitable for the classroom or home. With various project ideas and lesson plans, children have ample opportunities to explore and discover with Lego WeDo 2.0.

Instrument rentals are provided to borrow for in camp use and at-home exploration (LNMG Camp Agreement must be signed). Instruments must be returned at the end of the week (Instruments in AM session piano, drum. Instruments in PM session guitar and violin ). Campers in both morning and afternoon sessions will be supervised during a lunch break. All campers should bring a snack and drink daily; full-day campers should also bring a bag lunch.
