Columbia Pike Transit Stations Upgraded bus stops along Columbia Pike feature larger shelters and seating, real-time information screens, and artwork inspired by the community managed in partnership with Arlington County Public Art. Completion is expected in spring of 2026.
Columbia Pike: Segment A County and Federal multimodal construction on Columbia Pike Segment A, between South Oak Street and South Joyce Street. Construction on the County portion reached substantial completion in spring of 2025.
Columbia Pike: Segment F Multimodal construction improvements on Columbia Pike Segment F, between South Wakefield Street and South Oakland Street. Construction reached substantial completion in fall of 2024.
Columbia Pike: Segment C Road construction on Columbia Pike between South Courthouse Road and South Quinn Street. The project buried and upgraded utilities belowground, and reconstructed the road, sidewalks, bus stops, and buried aboveground utilities. Substantial completion was reached in late 2025. Final completion is expected in early 2026.
Columbia Pike: Segment D Road construction on Columbia Pike Segment D, between South Garfield Street and South Courthouse Road. The project buried and upgraded utilities belowground, and is now reconstructing the road, sidewalks, bus stops, and above ground utilities. Substantial completion was reached in late 2025. Final completion is expected in early 2026.
Columbia Pike Multimodal Street Improvements This project is transforming Columbia Pike in Arlington County to be safer and more accessible for all people in all modes of transportation. Construction reached substantial completion in late 2025, with smaller items to be completed in early 2026.
