About the Project

SPLA25-00036 (Major Site Plan Amendment)

Project Description

  • Permit temporary conversion of 123 residential units to hotel units for a period of 5 years to facilitate faster occupancy within the building, as well as activate neighborhood amenities while the initial residential units are leased. The proposed use is intended only for the initial lease-up period, and the units proposed to be converted might otherwise sit vacant during the final development and permitting stages of the building. Upon termination of the hotel use, the hotel units will revert back to residential use.
  • The temporary hotel units would be located on Floor 5 and Floors 7 through 17 of the southern tower. The number of converted units for the temporary hotel use will vary between each floor and will contain a mix of unit types. Three of the temporary hotel units will be accessible units.
  • The hotel use will be served by 76 unassigned parking spaces in the approved parking garage, resulting in a parking ratio of 0.61 parking spaces her hotel unit.
  • The proposed use does not require any modifications to the building’s site design, structure, streetscape or open space elements, exterior façade, or GFA.
