SP #56

The applicant, JBG Smith, has applied for an adaptive reuse site plan amendment to Site Plan #56. The applicant proposes the following changes:

• 1800 Office Building: convert 203,435 square feet of vacant office and commercial GFA to 129 residential units and 5,251 square feet of retail GFA.
• 1901 Office Building: convert 289,121 square feet of vacant office and commercial GFA to 186 residential units and 4,692 square feet of retail GFA.
• Minor changes are proposed to both building exteriors, including window replacements, removal of rooftop equipment, and addition of planters and screening elements.

No changes are proposed to the existing building height, footprint, total density, and streetscape conditions.
