Lubber Run Stormwater Improvements

The Lubber Run watershed(PDF, 24MB)  is one of the critical watersheds identified for stormwater capacity improvements. The watershed includes Waycroft-Woodlawn and other Civic Associations, Woodlawn Park, and the Virginia Hospital Center.

Stormwater staff have conducted a series of engineering surveys and studies, developed preliminary inundation maps, mapped system easements, and have identified potential locations for stormwater capacity improvements and are working to determine feasibility and secure easements.   A project to install additional storm drain inlets along 15th St North is in design.
