The Arlington Fire Department will visit with you where you are. We carry tools and equipment like an urgent care to take care of you without the need for an ER visit.

What is Mobile Integrated Health?

A proactive service of the fire department that offers treatment in place and care coordination to improve the health of those we serve.

What services are offered through Mobile Integrated Health?

Medication Reconciliation, Fall Risk Assessment, Care Coordination, and Health Education. We also offer treatment in place for minor injuries and illnesses.

 

What Is the age range for treatment in place?

To qualify for Treatment in Place (TIP) the patient must be 18 or older, or have parental/guardian consent.

Do I need insurance for treatment in place?

No fee or insurance is required for your visit. If you do have insurance, the fire department will attempt to bill them.

 

Who Is considered a Qualified Healthcare Provider?

Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants. 

If I Call 911, is the fire department still showing up?

Yes, all patients who call 911 will still get a baseline medical evaluation and assessment to see if the patient fits within the parameters for the Mobile Integrated Health Program.

Can I refuse to participate in treatment in place?

Yes.
