We offer many types of assistance for children and teens experiencing mental health and/or substance use issues through Same Day Access.
Bilingual (Spanish-English) staff and interpretation services are available. All services are confidential. Services are culturally responsive and trauma informed.

Mental Health Services:

  • Outpatient Mental Health Services
  • Individual, group, or family therapy for mental health and substance use
  • Case management for linkage and coordination of needs and services a youth may receive from various agencies or providers
  • Specialized case management for transition-age teenagers with mental illness
  • Detention and court-based assessment and intervention for youth in the Northern Virginia Juvenile Detention Center and/or involved with the juvenile court to identify youth with behavioral health concerns, divert them from court involvement and link them to appropriate services in the community.

Make a Referral

Professionals and providers may fill out this online Referral Form and submit a Release of Information form (available in English(PDF, 335KB) and Spanish(PDF, 140KB)) to cbhbinfo@arlingtonva.us. A copy of your Referral Form responses will be emailed to the referral source once completed.
