REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2026-01170135, 4600 block of King Street. At approximately 3:55 p.m. on January 17, police were dispatched to the report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business and began acting disorderly. When the suspect was approached by an employee, he allegedly struck the employee, collected merchandise and exited the store without payment. A responding officer located the suspect near the scene and took him into custody. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the suspect was previously banned from the business.  Simba Kundert, 57, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Robbery and Trespassing. He was held without bond.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 2026-01180151, 800 block of N. Kenmore Street. At approximately 7:20 p.m. on January 18, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male and female victims were walking in the area when they were approached by the male suspect who displayed what appeared to be a firearm and attempted to steal the male victim’s belongings. The suspect assaulted the male victim, resulting in both of them falling to the ground. A second suspect approached the group, and the two suspects subsequently fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported, and the suspects did not steal any of the victims’ belongings. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspects yielding negative results. Suspect One is described a Black male, approximately 5’5”, approximately in his late 20s with dreadlocks, wearing all black and a face covering. Suspect Two is described as a light-skinned Black male, approximately 5’10, approximately in his late 20s, wearing a black jacket and dark gray jeans. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2026-01190091, 800 block of S. Greenbrier Street. At approximately 3:04 p.m. on January 19, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the juvenile male victim was inside the common area of a residential building when he was approached by a group of approximately seven juvenile males who assaulted the victim and stole multiple pairs of shoes and an article of clothing before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. The suspects are described as juvenile Hispanic males in their teens. The investigation into the circumstances of this incident is ongoing.
