REPORTS
SHOT FIRED, 2026-04260028, 4000 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive. At approximately 2:57 a.m. on April 26, police were dispatched to the report of drunk in public. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect allegedly made entry into the secured parking lot and discharged a firearm, causing property damage. No injuries were reported. Responding officers located the suspect at the scene and took him into custody. A firearm and evidence of a shot being fired was recovered from the scene. Raiford Blackwell, 33, of Laurel, Md., was arrested and charged with Discharging a Firearm in a Public Place, Destruction of Property, Trespassing, Public Intoxication and Carrying a Concealed Weapon While Under the Influence. He was held without bond.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY/ASSAULT ON POLICE, 2026-04240178/2026-04240218, 300 block of N. Glebe Road/4200 block of Fairfax Drive. At approximately 7:14 p.m. on April 24, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the female suspect entered the business and allegedly concealed merchandise. When the suspect was confronted by an employee, she threw the merchandise, shoved the employee and fled the scene on foot. A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspect yielding negative results. At approximately 8:07 p.m., police were dispatched to the 4200 block of Fairfax Drive to the report of a disorderly subject in a residential building. Responding officers made contact with the female suspect, who matched the description of the suspect from the attempted robbery earlier in the evening, and took her into custody. While in custody, the suspect spat at an officer. During a search incident to arrest, drug paraphernalia was recovered. Adriana Warner, 38, of Arlington, Va., was arrested and charged with Assault on Police, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Public Intoxication and Attempted Robbery. She was held without bond.
INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2026-04250135, 1100 block of N. Highland Street. At approximately 3:07 p.m. on April 25, police were dispatched to the report of disorderly conduct. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect was outside the business when he allegedly exposed himself. The suspect then assaulted a victim on the sidewalk a short time later. No injuries were reported. Responding officers located the suspect at the scene and took him into custody. Donte Smith, 41, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure (3+ Offense in 10 Years), Assault and Battery and Public Intoxication. He was held without bond.
ROBBERY, 2026-04250128, 5400 block of Langston Boulevard. At approximately 2:42 p.m. on April 25, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business and inquired about buying merchandise. While an employee was showing the suspect the merchandise, a second male suspect entered the business and collected the merchandise. A second employee confronted both suspects and they subsequently shoved the employee and exited the store with the stolen merchandise. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle described as a grey sedan. No injuries were reported. The suspects are described as two Black males. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2026-04260095, 2600 block of Shirlington Road. At approximately 11:47 a.m. on April 26, police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary. It was determined between approximately five months prior and April 26, the unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the secured storage unit, stole electronics and subsequently fled the scene. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
