REPORTS

MALICIOUS WOUNDING BY CAUSTIC SUBSTANCE, 2025-10110110, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 6:04 p.m. on October 11, police were dispatched to the report of an assault. The preliminary investigation indicates the teenage female victim was approached by two teenage female suspects who are known to her and with whom she has had an ongoing dispute. The suspects assaulted her and discharged pepper spray before fleeing the scene on foot. The victim declined medical attention. The investigation is ongoing.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY (late), 2025-10100124, 3600 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 3:19 p.m. on October 10, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. It was determined the female victim returned home and observed signs that the unknown suspect made entry into her apartment, rummaged through the interior and subsequently fled the scene. No items were reported damaged or stolen. The suspect is described as a White female, approximately 5’2” tall, 120 pounds, with black hair, wearing gray pants, a gray sweater, and a black helmet. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (late), 2025-10110025, 300 block of S. Filmore Street. At approximately 4:18 a.m. on October 11, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. It was determined between 9:00 p.m. on October 10 and 1:30 a.m. on October 11, the unknown suspect(s) made entry into the residence, rummaged through the interior of two rooms, stole cash and subsequently fled the scene. There are no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
