REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2025-05150006, 5500 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 12:40 a.m. on May 15, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was walking in the area when he was approached by two male suspects who engaged him in conversation before Suspect One displayed a knife and Suspect Two stole the victim’s wallet and keys. Both suspects subsequently fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspects yielding negative results. Suspect One is described as an unknown race male, approximately 5’7”, 18-25 years old, wearing all black. Suspect Two is described as an unknown race male, approximately 5’4”, 18-25 years old, wearing all black. The investigation is ongoing.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING (late), 2025-05130121, 3500 block of 16th Street N. At approximately 3:36 p.m. on May 13, police were dispatched to Virginia Hospital Center for the late report of an assault. It was determined on May 11, the female victim and male suspect, who are known to each other, were inside a residence when the suspect assaulted the victim, causing serious, non-life-threatening injuries. On May 12, the victim self-reported to the hospital and during the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified, and a warrant was obtained for Malicious Wounding. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2025-05140169, 500 block of 18th Street S. At approximately 3:32 p.m. on May 14, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary just discovered. It was determined between May 2 and May 14, the unknown suspect(s) made entry into the victim’s unoccupied residence, stole personal items and electronics and subsequently fled the scene. There are no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
