REPORTS

AGGRAVATED MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2025-06100168, 300 block of N. Glebe Road. At approximately 6:59 p.m. on June 10, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with injury. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business and an employee engaged the suspect in conversation when the suspect became irate and began to physically assault the employee, causing him to fall on the ground. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. The employee sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated by medics at the scene. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male with facial hair, approximately 5’11” to 6’1”, wearing black joggers, white socks and black sneakers. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2025-06100129, 2100 block of Washington Boulevard. At approximately 3:23 p.m. on June 10, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with a weapon. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was outside when he was approached by the male suspect who demanded his wallet. When the victim refused, the suspect struck the victim with a knife, causing a laceration and fled the scene on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (Late), 2025-06100183, 1400 block of Crystal Drive.  At approximately 8:31 p.m. on June 10, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. It was determined between 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. the unknown male suspect made entry into the secured business, forced entry into multiple offices and cabinets, stole keys and subsequently fled the scene. The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black hat, gray jacket, black pants and wearing a black backpack. The investigation is ongoing.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY (Late), 2025-06060099, 3500 block of S. Stafford Street. At approximately 12:44 a.m. on June 6, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. It was determined on May 26 at approximately 6:36 p.m. the victim was inside her residence when the unknown suspect made entry into her home without permission. The victim yelled and the suspect subsequently fled the scene. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
