The applicant requests a site plan amendment to Site Plan #105-8 to amend condition #52 to remove retail requirements for a grocery store and drug store tenant. Condition #52 of the approved site plan requires the developer to maintain two specific retail uses on site. These include a full-service grocery store in building “A” of 40,000-70,000 square feet, and a full-service drug store consisting of 8,000 to 20,000 square feet. The applicant states they have tried to extend the lease for the existing Walgreens or locate a new drug store in this location, but has been unable to do so and therefore proposes to eliminate Condition #52 in its entirety and allow any retail uses otherwise permitted by the Zoning Ordinance in this location.
