Project Information
The project will repair the outfall behind the wastewater pumping station at 2801 N. Quebec St. The outfall structure and pipe are damaged, and erosion is occurring around the outfall (see photo below). The County will repair the outfall and the pipe segment and install new stone step pools to slowly convey water to the outfall and prevent future erosion. The project will also include improvements to three stormwater drains on N. Quebec St and the installation of a new section of pipe in front of the wastewater pumping station.
Schedule
Construction on the outfall repair project is estimated to start in October, 2025. The outfall project will take approximately 4-6 months to construct and approximately 1-2 months for planting (dependent on the season and weather).
