BackgroundMonroe St outfall eroded

The project repaired portions of the stormwater outfall on the upstream and downstream ends of the stormwater pipe that runs behind 3619 Nelson St (upstream) to 3630 N Monroe St (downstream) and stabilizing the stream banks along the back of the properties.  It also included relining the stormwater pipe that runs from 3600 N Monroe St., behind the N. Monroe Street properties, and ends at the outfall at 3619 N. Nelson St.

Storm Sewer Relining

The stormwater pipe on N Monroe Street was re-lined to improve the condition of the pipe and extend the life of the pipe.  The pipe was accessed from the storm drain on N. Monroe Street to complete the re-lining.

Storm Sewer Outfall Repair

Portions of the upstream outfall and the storm sewer pipe at the back of 3619 N Nelson Street were damaged. The County repaired the outfall and the pipe segment, and stabilized the surrounding area with stone riprap.  Additionally, the downstream outfall behind 3630 N Monroe Street was eroded, and the County stabilized the outfall and the surrounding area with stone riprap as well. Access to the construction site for these repairs was through 3618 N. Monroe Street.
