The County has purchased the property at 5822 19th St. North as part of a stormwater improvement program to provide overland relief or expand the storm system capacity and reduce flood risk to the community.
Project Phases
The home will be removed from the site and the area where the house once stood will be re-planted with grass.
Project Schedule
The demolition work is estimated to place in Fall, 2026. The site may be temporarily stabilized and will be planted with grass following the demolition.
Engagement
The County will hold a community meeting to review plans for the house demolition prior to the beginning of the demolition work.
