Public Spaces Master Plan (PSMP) Refresh

Arlington is refreshing its 2019 Public Spaces Master Plan (PSMP), an element of the County's Comprehensive Plan that helps guide the future of our public spaces and facilities. Welcome to The Refresh! To respond to the changing needs, trends and population of Arlington County, The Refresh will consist of a needs assessment, including review and update of the level of service analysis, benchmarking, a statistically valid community survey, review of land acquisition approach and priorities, and a robust community engagement. The Refresh will not be an update to the Plan recommendations adopted in 2019 but will focus on the Appendices section of the PSMP.  

This Refresh is rooted in the PSMP Action Step 1.2.4. that calls for conducting a public space needs assessment, including a statistically valid survey and Level of Service analysis, on a 5-year cycle.
