Community engagement is vital to the success of The Refresh. Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will lead a series of three separate rounds of a broad community engagement. This will be supported by the PSMP Implementation Advisory Committee that will help guide The Refresh. This process will follow the collaborate level of the County’s 6 Steps Public Engagement Guide.
Arlington County has retained Wallace Roberts & Todd Design (WRT), a planning, landscape architecture, and architecture firm based in Philadelphia, to support The Refresh of the Plan. WRT previously supported the PSMP update process and adoption in 2019 and has led dozens of park system plans across the country.
