• For emergency housing options, call Arlington County at 703-228-1300. 
• For legal services:
  • Call Legal Services of Northern Virginia at 703-778-6800; or
  • Call Legal Aid Justice Center at703–778-3450.
  • All conversations will be confidential and will provide residents with guidance based on their goals. These organizations can provide general information about your rights, information about the code compliance process, considerations related to immigration status, and tenant rights related to unit conditions.
  • Additional helpful information is available at the Legal Services of Northern Virginia website.
• To report a building safety code violation:
  • Call 703-228-3232.  County staff are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and you can leave a message after hours; or
  • Submit a request online. Under “Email” select “Investigation Request.”
    • Names and contact information are kept confidential.
• To request an inspection at Serrano Apartments for rodents or pests, call Arlington County at 703-228-1300.
