Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) outreach in Arlington County focuses on community public health education and emergency preparedness. The Arlington County Medical Reserve Corps (ACMRC) supports the mission of the Arlington County Public Health Division (ACPHD).

ACMRC training prepares volunteers for outreach and response activities while helping them build new skills. No prior experience is required. Volunteers receive training in communications, outreach, and presentations.

ACMRC volunteers also support a wide range of public health activities, including clinics, school vision and hearing screenings, mass dispensing, and outbreak response. Volunteers participate in exercises to help Public Health staff practice emergency response. ACMRC volunteers serve as surge capacity during public health emergencies and disasters.

Examples
