Valeria Stewart - Lubber Run Concert Series

Guitarist, Vocalist, Singer Songwriter Valeria Stewart delivers a captivating multilingual performance that blends Latin, folk, jazz, and Americana roots. Valeria is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina and grew up in the DC area. Her first EP ‘The Alchemist’s Journey’ was released in 2020 as part of the duo Luna. Her 2025 solo album, Raíces, is a Latin EP of original songs and covers which made #1 in the World music RMR radio charts and reached #6 on the NACC Latin charts. In 2026, Stewart won two Washington Area Music Awards (Wammies): Best World/Global Artist and Best World/Global Album for Raíces. With her upcoming album On A Wing, she expands her sound by blending elements of Motown, folk, Latin, and global styles—showcasing her versatile songwriting while staying true to her distinctive, authentic voice.

The setlist will include songs from her Latin debut album Raíces plus her American repertoire, accompanied by double bassist Zoe Jorgenson, lead guitarist Kevin Dudley and percussionist Manny Arciniega, with vocal harmonies and piano by Grey Jacks.

Lubber Run Summer Concert Series

Since the construction of the first permanent stage in 1969, generations of Arlingtonians have enjoyed free summer cultural events at the sylvan venue nestled two blocks off Route 50. The Lubber Run Summer Concert Series features free performances from a variety of genres including big band, blues, soul and orchestral music as well as cabaret to the Lubber Run Amphitheater. Working in partnership with the Lubber Run Amphitheater Foundation, we bring the very best of DC metro area arts to the heart of Arlington.

The series will run Saturday, June 6 through August 2, 2026, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 11am (some Sunday exceptions).
