2024 Arlington Art Walk

The third annual “Arlington Art Walk” welcomes back galleries, artist studios and Public Art between Clarendon and Ballston. This year, look for more exhibits, workshops, an artisan market, music and celebration of the 40th anniversary of Arlington Public Art. Check out the Art Walk on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Use the map the rest of the year to discover art at your own pace.

Bryn ARC ARC 3409 Art Studios

The ARC 3409 condominium building at 3409 Wilson Blvd. includes 4 art gallery studio units on the north side of the building. Stop by or contact artists, Courtney Nguyen, Will Salha, and Bryn Wallace.

Let it Flow, Photo by Side A Photo Arlington Art Truck | Interactive Art Project

A preview event at Ballston’s Welburn Square on Thursday, Oct. 3 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. features artist Scott Pennington with a whimsical bean bag toss game to educate participants about waste disposal.

The Shop Arlington Public Library | Maker Studio “The Shop” Tour and Interactive Art Project

Open from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Oct. 5. Take a tour of “The Shop,” the makerspace at Central Library (1015 N. Quincy St.). Shop staff welcome those who would like a tour of what equipment is available and what kind of projects are being made in the space.”

Cody Gallery Cody Gallery, Marymount University

Cody Gallery is a contemporary art space created as a platform to support the arts and strengthen the arts community at Marymount University and the greater Washington DC area. Personal Effects is a new iteration of Roberto Jamora’s abstract painting series titled An Inventory of Traces. Located on the second floor of Marymount’s Ballston Center (1000 N. Glebe Rd.).

Earth by June Linowitz Fred Schnider Gallery of Art

In the heart of the Ballston, the Fred Schnider Gallery of Art (888 N. Quincy St.) puts placemaking at the core of its exhibitions. “Elemental” by June Linowitz explores climate change through the metaphor of the Four Elements.

Mason Exhibitions Arlington Mason Exhibitions Arlington | Art Exhibition

FACES & FIGURES: IDENTITY THROUGH PRINTMAKING BETWEEN DC AND SOUTH AFRICA, an exhibition of Black printmakers between Johannesburg, SA and Washington DC. Stop by to work with artist Fleming Jeffries: Make and take Kitchen Lithograph. Enjoy sound by DJ D'Mitre.

The Plaza at Mason Square, is filled with fun and learning for the whole family. Start off with story time from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. led by Mary Aileen O'Connor. From 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. put yourself at the center of the C_vic sculpture for engagement that is matched with craft activities. Ready to make your voice count? The League of Women Voters will be on hand to register eligible voters.

MoCA Arlington

The Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington (MoCA), is celebrating the national biennial exhibition and other fall shows. Join the Art after Hours festivities, shop at the Made in Arlington market and stay for the cash bar reception from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Vendors sign up now!

HKS artwork WHINO: Reception
