Court Security

The Court Security section upholds security and order within the Circuit Court, General District Court, and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court. Responsibilities include ensuring the safe transfer of inmates to and from the Detention Facility for court proceedings, maintaining order in courtrooms, managing jurors both in the courtroom and when sequestered, and fulfilling other court-related tasks and duties. Additionally, this section oversees the screening of public entrances into the Courthouse building and assists with fingerprinting services.
