Vendor, Peddler, Canvasser Permits

A permit is required to vend, peddle or canvass in Arlington County. This permit is issued annually by the Licensing Office of the Police Department.

  • All permits expire on February 28 of each year.
  • The cost is $20 for the permit and $10 for fingerprinting (new applicants only).
  • Permit applications are processed on Tuesdays from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. You must appear in person. New applicants requiring fingerprinting should come to the office between Noon – 1 p.m.
