DJ and Music Production
DJ Program:

Ages: 11-17
How to Join: Register in person at Thomas Jefferson or Arlington Mill Community Centers during the class times listed below.
Cost: Free
This self-paced class teaches the fundamentals of DJ’ing so you can work on your skills, sharpen up on music theory, mix music and create beats. Teens who complete an associated training program are eligible to apply for paid student DJ positions with Arlington's Department of Parks and Recreation.
Thomas Jefferson:
Tuesdays and Fridays
2:30-6 p.m.
Arlington Mill:
Mondays and Thursdays
3:30-6:30 p.m.
Music Production Program:

Cost: Free
Acquire the basic skills needed to create your own beats using the computer. Music production equipment is available on-site. Participants are also welcome to bring and use their personal headphones, laptops, and flash drives.
