Late-Night Programs

Teen Nights at Lubber Run
Try out sports and esports, show off your best art project, play board games, and more on select Saturdays from 7-10 p.m.  

Teen Takeovers
Teen Takeover happens at various community centers once a month from 7-10 p.m.

Teen Sports Nights (high school only)
These include Kick'n it Late Night at the Mill, Ballin' at the Mill Late Night, and Friday Night Sports.  

Sports, Open Gym & Fitness

Ballin' at the Mill Late Night (high school only)
Drop in basketball at Arlington Mill Community Center every Friday from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. 

Kick'n it Late Night at the Mill (high school only)
Drop in futsal at Arlington Mill Community Center every Saturday from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Esports
Learn what it takes to participate in esports and learn the skills associated with them every Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at Lubber Run Community Center.

Friday Night Sports
Enjoy a wide variety of sports activities, including basketball, badminton, dodgeball, volleyball, as well as esports each and every Friday. 

Open Gym
Drop in and shoot some hoops. 

Teen Fitness Memberships
$10 fitness memberships for ages 13-17. 

After-School Programs

After-School Programs at Arlington Mill, Gunston and TJ
Make new friends, develop skills, and have some fun at our center-based teen programs through music, dance, games, cooking, art, sport games, and activities chosen by teen participants.

Teen Club
We bring the recreational experience to Middle and High School students at our Teen Club programs located at Kenmore Middle School and Washington-Liberty High School. Teens will play fun games, participate in teambuilding activities, get creative with arts and crafts, and learn about free and low-cost resources in the Arlington Community.

DJ & Music Production

DJ Classes 
This self-paced class teaches the fundamentals of DJ'ing.   

Music Production Classes
Learn the basic skills needed to create your own beats using a computer.

Internships, Jobs, Volunteering & Skill-Building

Teens Making a Difference (TMAD)
Want to make a difference? TMAD (Teens Making A Difference) is a Service Club that helps students plan service projects, learn leadership skills, and improve their schools and community.

T.E.A.M. Training
Fun is serious business and this program will teach your teen how to run it! We will teach aspects of operating a small amusement rental business.  

Join the Park Corps
Work alongside Arlington’s natural resource professionals in forestry, wildlife management, education, habitat restoration and more.  

National Youth Congress Internship
Youth Congress is an organization that allows teenagers to experience and gain independence and leadership through paid internships.

Summer Camps Job and Volunteer Opportunities

Teen Trips

Saturday Trip Series
The Teen Trip Series takes teens on fun and educational excursions in the DMV area on select Saturdays throughout the summer.
