Late-Night Programs

Teen Nights
Now on Fridays! Try out sports and esports, have a meal, show off your best art project, play games, and more. Locations rotate between Arlington Mill, Gunston and Thomas Jefferson Community Centers 6-9 p.m.  

Teen Takeovers
Teen Takeovers happen at various community centers one Saturday a month from 7-10 p.m. 

After-School Programs

The REC (Teen After School Program)
Make new friends, develop skills, and thrive in a safe and fun space with caring adults. These free programs at Thomas Jefferson, Walter Reed Community Center, Arlington Mill Community Center, Gunston Community Center, and Kenmore Middle School provide activities chosen by teens like homework help, dance, games, cooking, art, sports, and other activities. This program is free. Hours vary by location.

Career Cafe
Meet us at Career Cafe for a space to explore future careers, boost life and job skills, and prep for your future after high school.

Teen Trips

School Days Out
Enjoy a variety of activities and trips during APS days off.

College/University Tour Trips
Join us for a campus tour followed by a fun afternoon activity. 

Teen Employment

Join the Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center staff and monitor two pools, including a 50-meter pool and a leisure pool with a water slide and other play features.

TEAM

Turn your hobby into your hustle with this free 10-week mentorship program for teens.

Arlingteens Leaders Summer Internship
Get experience and gain independence & leadership through a summer internship.

DJ and Music Production Classes
Learn the fundamentals of DJ'ing and the basic skills needed to create your own beats using a computer.

Red Cross Babysitting Class
Learn the skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants.

Sports, Open Gym & Fitness

Drop-In Sports
Drop in and shoot some hoops or kick some balls. 

Teen Fitness Memberships with Teen Pass
Fitness memberships for ages 13-17.

Learn the basics to a variety of dances including Bachata, Cumbia, Merengue and Salsa.
