Aqua Fitness Descriptions

Enjoy Arlington Aqua Fitness Descriptions for water exercise classes. All classes are for students 13 and older. Please read descriptions as some classes require comfort in deeper water. Equipment, including flotation belts are provided however students in deep exercise classes should have basic swimming competencies to feel comfortable and safe in the water. Times are subject to change for specific information on class times and date please access our registration system by clicking the season desired.


Cardio Deep Water

Description

Participants must be comfortable in deep water (12ft). This deep water class combines water resistance with no-impact and uses a variety of equipment and exercises to achieve an high energy aerobic water workout.

 


Deep Aqua Fitness

Description

Participants must be comfortable in deep water (12ft).This deep water class will use a variety of deep water exercises to enhance cardiovascular fitness while strengthening and toning muscles. Aqua fitness belts are provided but you may bring your own.

You don’t have to be a good swimmer to condition your heart and lungs and increase muscle flexibility and tone in this low impact water workout.
