Fairlington’s Bee Box

Published on April 06, 2019

Local Girl Scout Julia Wine installed a native bee box habitat at Fairlington Community Center along with educational materials – a lovely addition to our teaching garden. Bee boxes are a super cool tool for counteracting the removal of important nesting sites for solitary bees (dead trees, rough grass, bare ground, etc.) in urban areas.

Stop by and check it out!
