Esports Lounge Ribbon Cutting
A new Esports Lounge designed for Arlington teens is officially opening at Arlington Mill Community Center (AMCC). Arlington County Parks & Recreation will host a ribbon cutting, on Fri., Feb. 6, 2026, at 5 p.m., celebrating the launch of this new teen-focused space.
The Esports Lounge is a dynamic, purpose-built environment that blends gaming, creativity, and community - featuring state-of-the art gaming equipment and capabilities and PlayStation 5 consoles. This new interactive, multi-use space includes a dedicated recording & podcast studio in addition to the Esports lounge.
Intentionally designed to feel welcoming, modern, and forward-looking, the lounge offers teens a place to connect with peers, explore new interests, and build a sense of belonging outside of school hours. The ribbon cutting marks the official opening of the Esports Lounge and celebrates a new chapter in teen-focused programming for Arlington County.
