Arlington County Government offices and services are operating on modified schedules for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026.

2026 Committee Members
Interested in joining the committee that plans Arlington’s annual tribute to Dr. King? Meetings are held every two weeks starting in August each year and committee members volunteer at the event. Email Emilee Riches to inquire about joining the team!
Volunteers are needed to serve as greeters and ushers at the 2026 event on Sun., Jan. 18. Volunteers will be on site from 4-7 p.m. To sign up to volunteer, email Emilee Riches.
