Clarendon War Memorial

The Clarendon War Memorial markers stand in Clarendon Central Park adjacent to the Clarendon War Memorial. The memorial honors the Arlingtonians who lost their lives in conflicts of the 20th and 21st centuries. The ten markers were unveiled to commemorate the centennial of WWI.

Arlington County Government, in collaboration with the County’s WWI Commemoration Task Force and Arlington’s American Legion and Veterans of Foreign War posts, developed this interpretive marker project to document the impacts of war on the local community.
