This page provides a year-round holiday schedule for Arlington Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) community centers, including Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center (LBAFC) and administrative offices. Presidents Day	Monday, Feb. 16, 2026	All community centers except for LBAFC are closed. LBAFC is open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Administrative offices closed.
Easter	Sunday, April 5, 2026	All community centers including LBAFC are closed. Administrative offices closed.
Memorial Day	Monday, May 25, 2026	All community centers except LBAFC are closed. LBAFC is open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Administrative offices closed.
Juneteenth	Friday, June 19, 2026	All community centers except LBAFC are closed. LBAFC is open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Administrative offices closed.
Independence Day (Observed)	Friday, July 3, 2026	All community centers except for LBAFC are closed. LBAFC is open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Administrative offices closed.

Thanksgiving	Thursday, Nov. 26, 2026	All community centers including LBAFC are closed. Administrative offices closed.
Friday After Thanksgiving	Friday, Nov. 27, 2026	All community centers except for LBAFC are closed. LBAFC is open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Administrative offices closed.
Christmas Eve	Thursday, Dec. 24, 2026	All community centers including LBAFC will close at 5 p.m.
Christmas	Friday, Dec. 25, 2026	All community centers including LBAFC are closed. Administrative offices closed.
New Year’s Eve	Thursday, Dec. 31, 2026	All community centers including LBAFC will close at 5 p.m.

In general, if a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday will be treated as a holiday and if a holiday falls on a Sunday the following Monday will be treated as a holiday.
Presidents' Day is not observed as a County holiday in fiscal years when there is a Presidential election.
Election Day is observed every four years for Presidential Elections.
