The following is a list of available general and mental health resources in and around Arlington County for your convenience. Listing of any non-County resources does not imply an endorsement by Arlington County and is simply for the convenience of our community members in need of non-emergent medical care not appropriate for 911 emergency medical resources.

Children's Behavioral Healthcare

Children's Advocacy Center

  • Homeless families and families at risk of becoming homeless.
  • Clients deposit wages into an agency managed budget

Rebuilding Together

  • Committed to helping our community homeowners who are unable to make or pay for the home repairs they need to stay in their homes.
  • These repairs include improving safety, making the house accessible for the disabled, weather proofing to increase energy efficiency and generally making the home a healthy and comfortable place to live.
  • Grab bars, stair rails, raised toilets, gutters, downspouts, plumbing leaks, energy upgrades to reduce utility bills and any overdue maintenance

Qualifications 

  • Own and live in the home to be repaired located in Arlington, Fairfax County, Fairfax City or the City of Falls Church
  • Intend to live in your home for at least two more years
  • Meet the income guidelines on the application
  • Complete an application and provide proof of ownership and total household gross income
